ANG/J15 : Les Saracens battus à domicile

Futurs adversaires de Clermont en Heineken Cup, les Saracens ont concédé leur troisième défaite de la saison ce week-end lors de la 15ème journée d'Aviva Premiership.
Malgré 14 points d'Alex Goode (photo), les Sarries se sont inclinés à domicile face à Leicester (19-20) sur un drop de Geordan Murphy trois minutes après la sirène. Ce revers profite aux Harlequins qui, vainqueurs de Worcester (16-14), comptent maintenant 6 points d'avance au classement sur les Saracens.
De son côté, Northampton confirme sa bonne forme actuelle en battant Sale (24-17) avec notamment 7 pénalités de l'ouvreur Stephen Myler. L'essai du revenant Mark Cueto n'aura donc pas été suffisant pour les Sharks.
En bas de tableau, à noter la troisième victoire de la saison de la lanterne rouge, Newcastle, face aux London Irish (19-10). Les Falcons reviennent à 6 longueurs des Wasps, encore battus à domicile par Exeter (12-15).
Enfin, dans la dernière rencontre de la journée, Gloucester est allé s'imposer sur le pelouse de Bath (11-14).
